Get a life, Chloe Brown. Talia Hibbert

Comienzo una nueva sección en el blog de Rassel: libros que tal vez nunca pueda leer por diversas circunstancias, especialmente tiempo, también porque estén descatalogados y no los encuentre ni en las bibliotecas públicas. Serán en español y en inglés.

Hay tantos libros con gatos que he decidido centrarme en novelas para jóvenes y adultos, dejando pendientes las de los peques por si en alguna ocasión se nos demandan.

Como es lógico, no podré dar mi opinión, así que compartiré la sinopsis comercial.

Para empezar he elegido una novela para adultos que se ha editado este mes de noviembre: Get a life, Chloe Brown, de Talía Hibbert. 

Respecto al gato que aparece en la portada, pues he leído que se merece un papel más protagonista; ¿qué hará?, ¿con cuál de los dos humanos vivirá? De verdad que cada vez me intriga más, así que posiblemente la compre y lea el año que viene, aunque se trate de comedia romántica.

Chloe Brown is a chronically ill computer geek with a goal, a plan, and a list. After almost -but not quite- dying, she’s come up with seven directives to help her “Get a Life”, and she’s already completed the first: finally moving out of her glamorous family’s mansion. The next items?

• Enjoy a drunken night out.
